Toyota 2023 Lineup is Dope!
The GR Supra and GR Corolla are two of Toyota’s most anticipated 2023 models. Three pedals are a no-cost option for the Supra 3.0, and there’s a limited-edition A91-MT Edition. The GR Corolla channeling its rallying sibling.
The bZ4X is Toyota’s electric-SUV entry. Co-developed with the Subaru Solterra, the Toyota offers single- and dual-motor versions, with front-wheel-drive producing 201 horsepower and all-wheel-drive 214 horsepower. EPA range is 222–252 miles.
The Avalon has been replaced by the Crown. Customers can select between a 340-hp Hybrid Max and a 236-hp standard model later this year. The $40,000 sedan is capacious.
Sequoia’s long-overdue makeover follows Tundra’s. The body-on-frame SUV gets the 437-hp i-Force Max hybrid powertrain, a twin-turbo 3.4-liter V-6, one AC motor, and a 10-speed auto. The pickup’s powerplant is nonhybrid. Tundra and Tacoma get SX packages.
The new Prius hasn’t been revealed. It’s elegant and efficient, which doesn’t take much.
The Highlander replaces its 3.5-liter V-6 with a 2.4-liter turbocharged inline-four that’s less powerful but more torquey (309 pound-feet versus 263 for the six). The non-GR Corolla is facelifted and gets a 169-hp 2.0-liter engine as standard. The Corolla hybrid car now has all-wheel drive, and the Corolla Cross SUV gets a hybrid with 194 horsepower and 37 mpg combined.
The RAV4 Woodland Edition gives the hybrid model rough look, the Venza gets a blacked-out Nightshade package, and the Camry gets bronze Nightshade wheels. Toyota celebrates anniversaries with cosmetic special versions of the GR86, Sienna, and 4Runner. Mirai and C-HR remain unaltered.
